I'm a full-stack software engineer, currently working at GitHub.

About

I used to live and work in Japan. One day in 2020, I grew tired of daily 2-hour walks and baking sourdough bread. I figured if I could learn Japanese, then I could learn Javascript...

Now I work on the Platform & Enterprise Copilot team at GitHub.

These days I'm into tennis, running through Golden Gate Park, surfing, and exploring local coffee shops.

I enjoy problem-solving

I am language agnostic, and I have experience with a variety of languages, frameworks, and tools for front-end and back-end development.

I develop AI agents and agentic experiences. This ranges from prompt engineering, building MCP tools and first-party skills, developing evaluation frameworks and LLM judges, and facilitating experimentation. Currently, I'm focused on solving the context problem for AI agents: figuring out how to get the right information to the right agent at the right time.
